The use of steel frame structures is found in many high rise buildings as steel frame structures are versatile and have better weight-to-loading ratio than concrete structures. Furthermore, as steel frame structures can be pre-fabricated in workshops and transported to the project site for assembly and installation, there is a marked reduction in wet works as compared with conventional concrete works.

As an approved supplier of blast doors for public bomb shelters in Singapore, TTJ has fabricated and installed numerous bomb shelter doors for the HDB, MOE, SMRT and other facilities. These specialty doors are built of very thick heavy steel plates and sections and specifically designed as effective shelters against bomb blasts.
